We highly recommend starting with a skin analysis, especially if you're new to our clinic or unsure where to begin. It allows us to assess your skin health in depth and recommend the most effective treatments and homecare for your goals.
If you're new to treatments, we recommend booking either a skin analysis consultation or our introductory/custom facial. This gives us the chance to understand your skin and create a treatment plan tailored specifically to you.
This depends on your skin goals, concerns, and treatment type. Many clients benefit from treatments every 4–6 weeks, while corrective programs may require more frequent visits initially. We’ll guide you with a personalized plan.
Please arrive with clean skin if possible and avoid active exfoliants, retinol, waxing, or excessive sun exposure for a few days beforehand. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us before your appointment.
Your skin may feel hydrated, refreshed, and glowing immediately after treatment. Some treatments may cause mild redness or sensitivity for a short time. We’ll always provide aftercare instructions based on your service.
All facials are offered in three tiers based on the amount of time and level of care included:
Restore (45 minutes)
A focused treatment designed to refresh, maintain, and support your skin. Ideal for regular upkeep or when you’re short on time.
Revive (60 -75 minutes)
Builds on the Restore facial with additional time for more targeted treatment, enhanced relaxation, and the option to incorporate advanced modalities when appropriate.
Rejuvenate (75 - 90 minutes)
Our most comprehensive facial, allowing for deeper treatment work, advanced techniques, and extended massage. This tier is ideal for those looking for more intensive support and a fully relaxing experience.
No matter which tier you choose, your facial is customized to your skin’s needs on the day of your appointment.
All of our facials are designed to be both results-driven and deeply relaxing. While each treatment is tailored to support your skin concerns and goals, every facial includes calming elements to help you unwind and enjoy time for yourself. We believe skincare should be effective without compromising the experience, so you can expect both visible skin benefits and a relaxing treatment every visit.
If relaxation is your main priority, we recommend choosing the facial and tier that resonates most with you. Our tiers range from 45 to 90 minutes, allowing you to select the amount of time and level of experience that best suits your needs.
For in-person appointments, we accept debit and credit card payments securely processed through Square.
The OBSERV 520x is an advanced skin diagnostic device that uses specialized lighting modes to reveal underlying skin conditions not always visible to the naked eye. It helps us assess concerns such as pigmentation, congestion, dehydration, sensitivity, and signs of skin aging. It also allows us to evaluate the presence, quality, and balance of your skin’s lipids, which play an important role in maintaining a healthy skin barrier and overall skin health.
Skin analysis can be booked on its own or combined with an introductory facial (45 minutes). This option is ideal if you’re looking for a more in-depth understanding of your skin along with a treatment.
A $50 credit from your skin analysis can be applied toward product purchases made on the day of your appointment.
Some facials may include elements of skin assessment, but a dedicated analysis provides a more detailed view of your skin and allows for more precise recommendations. If you’re unsure which option to choose, we’re happy to help guide you.
We recommend a skin analysis every 3 - 6 months, or anytime your skin changes significantly due to seasons, lifestyle, hormones, or new concerns. It’s also ideal before starting a new treatment program or adjusting your skincare routine.
If you are a regular client of Skin Care by Shawna and visit every 4 - 6 weeks for ongoing treatments, your skin assessments are included at no additional charge as part of your continued care.

We accept ‘E-Transfer’ and ‘credit card payments’ through QuickBooks. Once your order is processed, we’ll send you an invoice with all the payment details.
