Called the “Fire Extinguisher” of the dermaviduals® product line, this serum contains highly enriched, native phosphatidylcholine in a liposomal dispersion and naturally occurring, antimicrobial azelaic acid.  Liposomes are very rich in essential fatty acids (linoleic acid, alpha-linolenic acid) and intensely support the prevention of blemished, inflamed, and acne skin because the chemically bound linoleic acid is transformed to the anti-inflammatory 13-hydroxyoctadecadienoic acid (13-HODE). As the linoleic acid content in the skin increases, the skin’s sebum production will balance and normalize.
