Acetyl Hexapeptide-37 – Boosts Aquaporin-3 which promotes inner hydration mechanisms and water movement from the basal layer of the epidermis and to the stratum corneum, rejuvenating the skin by improving barrier function, collagen I synthesis, and cellular proliferation. Proteins in the skin come in many different forms and serve many different purposes. The skin’s surface is similar to a brick and mortar structure where the corneocytes (bricks) are attached to each other by desmosomes and held firmly in place by lipids (mortar). Many peptides are modified with a fatty acid component that allows them to be readily absorbed into the skin.

Tremella Fuciformis (Snow Mushroom) – White gelatinous flower than a mushroom and 400x as moisturizing as sodium hyaluronate. Tremella Fuciformis increases the production of SOD in the skin while decreasing the feel of tautness. The Snow Mushroom works well in low as well as high humidity conditions and is very effective at “puffing” the skin due to extreme moisturizing to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Orange, Lemon, and Cranberry Ferment Peel – Inhibiting tyrosinase production, perfect for those unsightly dark circles under the eyes. The fermentation process enhances the anti-tyrosinase activity of the lemon peel as well as its unique antioxidant properties. Balancing skin tone is an important aspect to address when developing
cosmetic skin treatments, as is providing an antioxidant-rich formulation. This product is capable of improving moisturization while simultaneously increasing the production of structural components, such as collagen and
glycosaminoglycan, as well as reversing cutaneous atrophy.

Marine Algae – Marine rich iodine, mineral, anti-oxidant, and natural anti-inflammatory aspects, kelp is believed to moisturize, soften and help skin retain its moisture. Kelp also contains elements that help remove toxins, soothe, and can easily penetrate the skin for instant hydration. It also aids in keeping skin smooth.
