Hi, I’m Shawna, founder of Skin Care by Shawna, and I understand how challenging reactive, inflamed skin can be.
I’m a certified esthetician with over 25 years of experience and a holistic nutritionist for over 17 years. I’ve always believed skincare should work with the skin, not against it — supporting the barrier and respecting how skin functions.
After completing Advanced Skin Analysis training, I brought corneotherapy-aligned skincare into my business in 2018. That shift reinforced my belief in barrier-first care and continues to guide how I support clients today.

In-Person Facials in Dawson Creek
In addition to online support, Skin Care by Shawna now offers in-person facials in Dawson Creek.
I will complete your consultation, skin analysis, and treatment plan. In-person facials are delivered using the treatment plan created for you, ensuring consistency between your professional treatments and your home care routine.
Treatments focus on supporting the skin barrier, improving resilience, and maintaining skin health over time, not quick fixes or aggressive approaches.
Meet Pawan
Pawan is the esthetician delivering in-person facial treatments at Skin Care by Shawna. She is a graduate of Northern Lights College, where she earned her Diploma in Cosmetology.
She works closely with me to ensure each facial aligns with your consultation findings and treatment plan. Pawan brings a calm, attentive approach to treatments and is committed to providing thoughtful, skin-supportive care focused on long-term results.

Skin Care by Shawna continues to operate as an online skincare store, offering professional, barrier-supportive products and personalized recommendations for clients across Canada.
Every product is selected with intention, focusing on skin health, barrier support, and formulations that respect the skin’s natural function. Online consultations and guidance remain an important part of how we support clients, whether or not they receive in-person treatments.
